Hello, my foodie friends!
Okay, it’s a new year, and that usually means we’re all thinking about “how am I taking care of my body?” And things like “I should work out more” or “how can I start eating healthy meals consistently”. And that lasts like two seconds before we’re utterly consumed by our lives again, and we settle back into the same routines and comfortable fallbacks.
The truth is all those questions and thoughts above can be handled by what we put in our bodies. Feeling healthier, getting into shape, losing weight, sleeping better, and just feeling better overall can all be handled with what we put in our bodies! Aka, food choices.
Weight loss, weight gain, weight control, food portion sizes, common body ailments or diseases can all largely be managed or prevented with diet and exercise, and namely a healthy eating plan. (Vitamins and minerals, supplements, and some good old fresh air can’t hurt either!)
That leads me to the fun part. The part I feel like I’ve semi-mastered (too far?) through 2021. The part where I figured out what my body really didn’t like, and what helped it to thrive! We’re talking better sleep, less brain fog, being more efficient overall, feeling better, and then shedding a few pounds too.
So, let’s dive in! Here are some of my favorite recipes and foods from my meal plan that checks the “healthy eating” box of 2021 that helped my body (and in turn business and life) to thrive!
